Coach White has 17 District Championships in a row, a Pennsylvania record. He also holds the record by winning 12 consecutive PIAA AAAA First Round Playoff Games. His 1984 undefeated 30-0 State Champions may be the best high school basketball team in Pennsylvania schoolboy history. In 1995 he was named the Pennsylvania Big School Coach of the Year by the Associated Press and led his team to a state runner-up finish. Coach White has also been the State Basketball Director for the KEYSTONE STATE GAMES since its inception in 1983. Jim Martin's Scouting Report, The National Recruiter and The Pennsylvania Coaches' Association ranked Keystone State #1 the best basketball camp in the East. Keystone State is also recognized as the number one basketball camp by world wide search engines Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Below are just some of the reasons why. WHAT MAKES KEYSTONE THE BEST? Improvement You pay to play, not sit. No guest lecturers that speak every day while you sit and listen. KS#1 is action. You get 5 weeks of basketball in 5 days. Your improvement will be noticeable immediately after camp is over. At KS#1, everybody plays at least 12 games, a camp-wide 2-on-2 tournament, free throw tournament, 3 point shooting tournament and 3-on-3 leagues with a championship tournament. Talent Naturally you want tough competition. Keystone State had the top players in grades 7-12 from over 300 schools from 16 states and 4 foreign countries. Facilities Facilities are an important part of the camp experience and ours are the best. All dormitories, courts and cafeterias are contained within three blocks. We play all games on eight full-length indoor courts. Campers stay in air-conditioned dormitories and suites and eat in a modern air-conditioned cafeteria, serving "all you can eat," including salad bar and unlimited ice cream and soft drinks. Applied to be NCAA Certified Division I coaches can only attend and evaluate players at an NCAA-certified camp. Instruction Unlike other All-Star camps that just roll the balls out, we have high-powered teaching drills for one hour and ten minutes a day. You learn in the morning and play games in the morning, afternoon and evening -- a perfect mix for a talent camp. Coaching and Supervision We provide each camper with the personal attention he/she deserves. At KS#1, all coaches are full time staff members who are at camp before you arrive and leave camp after you depart. In addition to coaching, they will live and eat with you. Keystone State staff members live on each floor and monitor residence halls at night. Players Unlike other camps, at KS#1 no players are brought in "tuition free" because they are "big names." At Keystone State, everyone pays and everyone plays. Training Room Facilities Our campers have access to the best-equipped training room facilities in the East. There will be a professional athletic trainer on duty at all time. Grade Level Divisions Players will be placed in Divisions for competition based on their grade in September 2008. The Youth division will consist of 7th and 8th grade players, the Junior division will be 9th and 10th grade, and the Scholastic division will include 11th and 12th grade.
